Job summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic physiotherapist to join our friendly Women's Health team. Candidates must have experience of assessing and treating Pelvic floor. Main duties of the job To perform as an autonomous practitioner, using advanced, specialised assessment of womens health patients including those with highly complex presentations To formulate a diagnosis and provide a specialist physiotherapy treatment plan using highly skilled clinical reasoning To undertake the highly skilled specialist assessment of patients, including those with highly complex presentations with gynaecological and musculoskeletal obstetric conditions using highly developed dexterity, coordination and palpatory sensory skills. To act as a source of expertise and provide advice to patients, carers, Physiotherapists and other health and social care professionals on the management of Continence and pelvic floor dysfunction To accept clinical responsibility for own caseload and organise this efficiently and effectively with regard to clinical priorities and use of own and others time and clinical skills To work with the possibility of exposure to body fluids, unpleasant smells, infections & exposure to verbal or physical aggression, including patients displaying highly emotional and confrontational behaviours To work as part of multi and interdisciplinary teams.
