This post is Fixed term/Secondment for 3 months to meet the needs of the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a Health Records Project occurring in the Mental Health and Learning Disabilities Division across North Wales. No previous NHS experience is required as full training will be provided, but a hardworking, innovative and “can do” attitude is required to progress with this project.
The Medical Records Clerk will be responsible for providing an essential support service in the continuing care of patients, ensuring that the case notes are at the right place at the right time.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will cross cover in all aspects of the role including, the pulling, filing, tracking, pruning, destruction, preparation, amalgamation and secure transportation / delivery of the case notes. The post holder will ensure policies and procedures are followed in compliance with Information Governance (IG), GDPR and the Health Records Management Procedure, meeting set objectives to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service. Following organisational core values and behaviours, departmental policies and objectives to provide a high quality, efficient and effective service adhering to agreed minimum standards and KSF outlines.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
