This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the voice and presence of a high-performing eCommerce business operating in a competitive and prestigious market.\n\nJob title: Head of Brand \n\nLocation: Birmingham \n\nSalary: up to £70,000 (DOE) + bonus scheme \n\nContract: Full time, permanent, hybrid in office 4 days per week \n\nStart date: April - July 2025\n\nWorking closely with the wider marketing, content, and customer service functions, you will be responsible for developing a compelling brand identity, delivering impactful content strategies, and ensuring consistency across all communication channels.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nDevelop and implement a forward-thinking brand strategy across digital and traditional channels.\n\nLead the planning and creation of engaging, audience-led content aligned with brand values and business objectives.\n\nOwn and optimise display advertising campaigns to maximise brand reach and visibility.\n\nOversee media relations, building strong relationships with key press and media contacts to elevate brand reputation.\n\nManage and inspire a high-performing content team, fostering innovation and collaboration.\n\nEnsure consistency and quality across all written content, including web, email, blogs, and printed materials.\n\nDrive the brand's content evolution through insight-driven innovation and trend analysis.\n\nAlign content and communication strategies to improve customer engagement, retention, and acquisition.\n\nWork cross-functionally to deliver a seamless brand experience across all customer touchpoints.\n\nMonitor and evaluate campaign performance, providing strategic insights and data-driven recommendations.\n\nCandidate Criteria\n\nProven experience developing and executing brand and content strategies, ideally within a retail or eCommerce environment.\n\nStrong background in managing media relations, securing positive press coverage, and working with external agencies.\n\nExceptional copywriting and editorial skills, with the ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.\n\nDemonstrated experience in leading and mentoring content or marketing teams.\n\nExcellent project and time management skills, with the ability to juggle competing deadlines.\n\nStrong understanding of customer engagement principles and digital content performance metrics.\n\nCreative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand-building.\n\nFamiliarity with display advertising, SEO, and content marketing best practices.\n\nCommercially aware with an ability to balance creativity and business objectives\n\nPlease apply for more information \n\nGleeMD \n\nAt Gleeson Recruitment Group, we embrace inclusivity and welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, and abilities.
