This is a fixed term role and for those with current NHS service, the role will be offered on a secondment basis only. Please obtain permission to be released on a secondment before submitting an application.
Person specification
Knowledge, Skills and Training
Essential criteria
1. Degree/diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
2. Member of HPC
3. Member of RCSLT
Job Specific Experience
Essential criteria
4. Experience working in a community clinic
5. Experience working within a mainstream school
6. Some general administrative duties
Desirable criteria
7. Previous experience as a qualified SLT band 6 working in an NHS setting
8. Evidence of developing an area of specialism
Additional Requirements
Essential criteria
9. Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, adequate to enable the post holder to carry out the role effectively
10. Subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act, able to travel using own vehicle on Trust business
Managerial /Supervisory Experience
Essential criteria
11. experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff
Desirable criteria
12. Experience of devising and delivering training
