You will be working in different locations throughout South Wales
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking apprentice to assist our experienced Steel Fixers in making and installing reinforcement on construction sites. This is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to learn the trade and build a solid career in construction.
Apprenticeship Overview:
* Salary: £9,984 per year
* Hours: 30 Hours per Week
* Working week: Monday - Friday, 8am - 3pm (2 X 30 minute breaks)
* Level 2 Steel Fixer Apprenticeship standard qualification
* Online training supported by our dedicated tutors
* Location: Birkemp Ltd, Unit C7, Treforest Ind Est, Pontypridd, Mid Glamorgan, CF37 5UD

Your Role:
* Assist Steel Fixers in preparing and cutting steel reinforcement
* Help install reinforcement in foundations, columns, slabs, and walls
* Ensure all materials are handled safely and according to safety standards
* Support the team with other tasks as required on-site
