Job Title: Electrician or Approved Electrician
Base Location: Peterhead Power Station
Salary: £34,534 - £37,447 depending on skills and experience and working hours plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Fixed Term Contract, Full Time, 37-hour week Monday – Thursday 7:30 am-4pm Friday 07:30am – 12:30pm, Overtime available when required by operational needs.

What will I be doing in this role?
Our team at Peterhead Power Station works on looking after all electrical works at the station as below:
* Maintenance / New install / Testing & Inspection.
* Containment / wiring / repairs / fault finding / testing & inspection.
In a typical day, you could expect to be:
* Conduct electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance activities within the power station premises.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards at all times.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contractors to achieve project objectives.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and report any discrepancies or concerns.
What do I need to be successful in the role?
* Time Served Recognised Apprenticeship
* 18th Edition ECS/SJIB Gold Card
* Experience of testing including EICR
* Current IEE wiring regulations qualification 18th Edition
* Be familiar with current H&S legislation and site requirements
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and regulations
* Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
