Electrical Engineer
Location: Tadworth
Salary: £45k + 2x life assurance, 25 days holiday + bank holidays
Hours of Work: 7am - 4pm (with a late shift 1 in 4 from 10am to 7pm)
Resourcing Group has an exciting opportunity to join the world leader in FM & Real Estate, working on a pharmaceutical contract.
Job Overview
To ensure all environmental conditions within the building are maintained at all times. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), reactive, and breakdown works to all electrical & mechanical systems within the site. Engineers must demonstrate relevant knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems and ensure compliance with all required statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out all electrical works for maintaining the client building, including work on electrical equipment and installations and HVAC equipment.
2. Work independently and as part of a team to carry out routine PPM, reactive, and repair works, ensuring all deliverable SLA/KPI targets are met or exceeded.
3. Responsible for electrical maintenance, including lighting, LV systems, UPS, and generators.
4. Identify extra work requirements and provide details of required materials and labour estimates to enable client quotes to be issued.
5. Ensure that plant faults and defects are swiftly remedied to maintain plant in a serviceable order at all times.
6. Complete all relevant paperwork regarding PPM, reactive, and breakdown works, and update the site job reporting system.
7. Ensure all plant rooms under the responsibility of the business are locked and kept in a clean and tidy condition.
8. Supervise and monitor subcontractor work while they are on site undertaking maintenance & reactive works.
9. Carry out works to ensure compliance with contractual KPI's/SLA.
10. Keep the computer-based maintenance reporting system up to date and ensure PPM and reactive work orders are closed out with accurate data captured.
11. BMS operation for daily checks and HVAC equipment adjustments.
Selection Criteria
1. Electrical Qualification, including 18th Edition BS7671.
2. Good all-round knowledge of electrical and general building maintenance, diagnostic and repair procedures, and working knowledge of building services systems and maintenance schedules.
3. Experience of maintaining all relevant electrical equipment.
Desirable
1. Initial & periodic Electrical Inspection and Testing (2391).
