Lecturer, Sport, Southend Campus
We are seeking a dynamic lecturer within areas of Sport provision with a drive and passion to teach to an outstanding standard, to join the team within the School of Sport, Public Services and Science. The post holder will ensure the needs of our learners come first and that every learner will be provided with opportunities to achieve their full potential within a safe, stimulating and supportive environment.
You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and learning and you are expected to develop appropriate teaching techniques and materials which enable all learners to achieve their full potential and take account of educational initiatives. It is desirable but not essential that the successful candidate holds a teaching qualification and possesses relevant experience; however, if you do not have the relevant teaching qualification, you will be expected to achieve this during your first 3 years of employment.
The salary offered to the successful candidate will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
1. A minimum level 3 industry relevant qualification.
2. An Assessor qualification or willingness to achieve this within a specified time frame.
