The Role
The Lead Electrical Engineer will provide delivery support to the Shore Integration Facility, including both planned and reactive maintenance activities and installation projects. This role is also responsible for the functional management for a team of engineers within the Maritime, Land & Weapons Engineering discipline.
Day-to-day, you will:
1. Carry out electrical design for electrical installations involving a variety of voltages and frequencies
2. Be responsible for first line assurance of maintenance and electrical project sign off
3. Work with the facility team and scheduler to deconflict and plan maintenance activities
4. Be responsible for developing individuals, ensuring that development plans are aligned to business capability needs and requisite capacity
5. Advising, discussing and approving objectives with individuals, coaching through PDR and feedback received; engaging in group wide calibration and performance discussions
This role is full-time, 37 per week based at our Portsmouth site, with hybrid working available.
Essential experience of the Lead Electrical Engineer:
6. You should have extended hands-on electrical experience
7. You must have experience in a leadership role

8. You must be 18th Edition qualified (BS7671)
