Temporary Team Leader - Repairs & Maintenance

Pay Rate: £19.26 per hour PAYE
Working Hours: 35-37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours
Duration: This opening assignment is for 5-6 months
City: SOUTH SHIELDS
As a Team Leader in the Repairs and Maintenance team, you will manage a team of construction trades, overseeing Health and Safety, managing productivity and performance, and dealing with customer queries and concerns. You will ensure the team's compliance records are kept up to date, order materials, and manage the day-to-day operations of the team, working closely with the Repairs Management team.
Qualifications:
1. CSCS
2. Manual Handling
3. Asbestos Awareness
4. Driving Licence
Experience:
1. Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context, ideally within the public sector.
2. Relevant Team Leading/Supervisory experience working in a construction environment.
3. Previous experience working as a Site Manager or Team Leader and able to provide references to validate this.
Skills & Abilities:
1. High level of oral and written communication skills.
2. Ability to manage workload effectively to meet performance targets.
