An excellent opportunity has arisen for a hands-on team member of the Redbrick Maintenance team. This is an important role and one that is integral to the successful day-to-day operation of the Redbrick complex and includes the maintenance, upkeep, and security of the Redbrick site.
You will need to be willing to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, have a flexible approach to work and working hours, and possess a good mix of general maintenance experience.
As a Maintenance Operative, your duties will include:
* Carrying out any reasonable works and repairs as requested by Redbrick Management.
* Assisting with the daily opening and closing of the site, on a rota basis.
* Carrying out non-maintenance duties e.g., furniture goods inwards deliveries, assisting customers with purchases, and waste management.
The ideal candidate will hold the following:
* Good communication skills, as you will be interacting with the Redbrick team and customers.
* Ability to work with minimal supervision and also as part of a team.
* Organisational skills.
* Reliability and practicality.
* Some basic maintenance skills such as plumbing, joinery, and electrical work are preferred but not essential as training can be provided for the right candidate.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days over 7 days, to include regular weekend and Bank Holiday working.
Excellent salary depending upon experience. References will be required.
