Salary: £58,698 – £67,000 FTE dependent on experience

Healthcare Central London Ltd (HCL) is a federation of 32 General Practices and 4 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) in Westminster caring for more than 275,000 registered patients. We provide Community and Primary Care services to our local residents, alongside staffing, management, and administrative support to our member practices.

ROLE PURPOSE
The ANPs work across 3 key services:
1. Our eHub is a digital same-day service for our 33 practices.
2. We run an Extended Access service in the afternoons and evenings of Mon-Fri, and from 9-4 on Saturdays.
3. We run research clinics, where we see and screen patients who are eligible for our studies.
The post holder will demonstrate courageous and critical thinking and is a caring, compassionate, and committed experienced nurse who, acting within their professional boundaries, will provide care for the presenting patient from initial history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care.
KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical:
1. Working across the following specialties; eHub, Enhanced Access, and research.
2. Triage urgent care requests if required, consulting with patients or directing them appropriately.
3. Provide advanced nursing care to patients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
4. Conduct holistic assessments on patients and ensure appropriate care and action plans based on their needs are clearly recorded and documented.
5. Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
Essential (E) and Desirable (D) Experience, Qualifications and Skills
* Current Registration of Part 1 of NMC Register (E)
* Completion of a legacy or current advanced practice qualification (E/D)
* Two years post qualification experience (E)
* Independent Prescriber (E)
* Advanced Clinical including Physical Examination Skills (E)
* Excellent communication skills (E)
