Personal Assistant Carer required to support a 31 year old man who has a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy and communication issues.
The client has a very active social life, attending university and work.
The client requires supporting with all aspects of his care, including:
• Showering/personal hygiene care
• Feeding/Drinking
• Dressing/getting up and getting ready for bed
• Support when out/about in the community / Socialising
• Chaperone on holidays
• Cover for sickness/holidays is also required
The hours required are to be mutually agreed but (may include) the following call times:
Tuesday
10:00-11:00am - Get up call 1hr
12:30-1:30pm - Lunch call 1hr
16:30 -17:00pm - Put on bed for rest 30mins
18:00-19:00pm - Tea call 1hr
22:45-11:45pm - Put to bed 1hr
Wednesday
08:00-9:00am -get up call 1hr
18:00-19:00pm -tea call 1hr
22:45pm-23:45pm -Put to bed 1hr
Thursday
08:00-9:00am -Get up call 1hr
18:00-19:00pm - Tea call 1hr
22:45pm-23:45pm - Put to bed 1hr
Friday
16:30-17:00pm - Put on bed call 30mins
18:00-19:00pm - Tea call 1hr

Experience is preferred but not essential.
A Diploma in Health and Social Care: Level 2 is also desirable.
A transferable enhanced DBS check is desirable to allow for employment to commence as soon as possible but not essential as one will be provided.
