Elementa Support Services is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant with a background in SEND for our client based in Taunton, Somerset. The client is a small single form entry primary school, that creates an inspiring and challenging environment to help learners succeed.
This is an ongoing contract opportunity, offering a competitive rate of £90.03 per day. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting learners with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to students with SEND, adapting activities to meet individual learning needs.
* Work closely with teachers to implement educational plans and strategies.
* Assist in the development and monitoring of students' progress.
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and needs.
Minimum Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Experience as a Learning Support Assistant or Learning Mentor.
* A background in supporting students with special educational needs.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to children and young people.
* Patience, resilience, and a commitment to helping all learners thrive.
Contract & Recruitment Information
