Salary: From £30,000 - £37,000 per annum (DOE)
Day shift, Monday to Friday

The Company:
The company offers bespoke engineering solutions to overcome to manufacturing challenges and obstacles. Due to continue growth, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Fabricator / Welder to join their small, growing team on a permanent basis.
Job Role:
The main function and responsibility of the Fabricator / Welder will be to work as part of a Small Production team to assisting in the manufacturing, installation, and fault finding of machinery / equipment.
Duties:
* Good working knowledge of mechanical engineering.
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Assisting with Machine Fitting and Assembly
* Good understanding of current environmental and H&S issues.
* Experience in fault finding, defect rectification and routine maintenance activities.
* Ad hoc CNC duties (both milling & turning)
* Ad hoc Welding duties.
* Operating various pieces of Production equipment / machinery
* Using handheld tools to assembly products.
* Some site work will be involved to assist in the installation of Machinery.
* Quality control duties to ensure production is to the highest of standard.
Technical Knowledge / Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience working within a workshop environment is essential.
* Previous experience working within fabrication and welding is essential.
* Previous CNC experience (milling) experience is desirable.
* Must be able to able to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Must be able to work both individually as well as part of a small team.
* Must be a strong communicator who can build relationship with colleagues and clients.
