We are currently a Deputy Manager who is ready or soon will be ready to become a Registered Manager to be appointed for a new home providing care for children with complex needs,
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Registered Manager at a North Star home for children with complex needs.
Ideally, but not necessarily, we are seeking someone who is or will be shortly ready to assume promotion to be a Registered Manager in a new home based on their experience with complex needs to date. The new Registered Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children, managing staff, and implementing care plans. The role involves working closely with external stakeholders, and promoting a positive and nurturing environment for the children. The Registered Manager will be strongly supported by a team of top class experts including RI, administration and regulatory consultant level inputs.
Qualifications
* Experience in managing a children's residential care home with complex needs as a Deputy Manager or RM
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection laws
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
* Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic interventions
* Excellent organizational and decision-making skills
* Relevant qualification in social work, child care, or a related field
* Build relationships with children who may not have experienced stable relationships in the past
* Provide good leadership to the staff team, and work with them to overcome the difficulties they may face in helping children to thrive and stay safe
* Use their skills in multi-disciplinary working to coordinate the completion and delivery of a child’s care plan
* Challenge the contribution of other professionals, to get children the help that they need, or promote children’s aspirations.
Remuneration
Salary and bonuses and benefits in the region of £80,000 p.a.
