Applications are invited for an Associate Professor in Forensic Psychology Practice based in the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology, a leading centre for postgraduate research and professional training, at the University of Nottingham, School of Medicine Mental Health and Clinical Neuroscience Unit.
The post will play an active role in Nottingham's Institute for Mental Health through interdisciplinary research.
You will be responsible for co-directing the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology, acting as Course Director to the MSc in Forensic and Criminological Psychology, and contributing to research and practice supervision for the Doctorate in Forensic Psychology (DForenPsy). Both programmes are professionally accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), leading to chartered status and registration as a forensic psychology practitioner.
Minimum Requirements:
1. PhD, DForenPsy, DClinPsy or equivalent in Forensic Investigative or Criminal Psychology.
2. Registration with the HCPC as a forensic psychology practitioner.
3. Experience of postgraduate teaching, course or module leadership, and supervising doctorate research students.
The post is offered on a full-time (36.25 hours per week), permanent contract. Job share arrangements may be considered.
