Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations: Supervises all key processes for order fulfillment: receiving, put away, replenishment, production, picking, packing, shipping and Returns (RMA) Assigns work for Lead Hands and hourly staff. Sets daily priorities and communicates them. Makes changes as necessary to optimize productivity and customer service. Reports accurate performance and financial metrics. Attends meetings as necessary and communicates with partner departments to guarantee successful operations. (40%) Team Engagement: Promotes a positive, open and engaged HR environment. Assists with HR questions, and funnels queries to the Operations manager and People & Culture. Identifies potential HR or engagement issues and elevates them in an expeditious manner. Maintains regular communication and support for direct reports by holding regular 1 on 1 interviews and performance reviews. (40%) Safety and Facility Management: Models and ensures a safe-driven building culture, identifies and corrects hazards. Monitors all major building systems and equipment. Works with contractors and vendors when necessary to keep all systems and equipment up to standards, including periodic maintenance and break/fix repairs. (10%) Inventory Accuracy: Works with Inventory control and Operations manager to achieve the highest levels of inventory accuracy possible. Proposes and implements improvements to all aspects of the inventory process; slotting, counts. (10%) Contribution, Complexity & Innovation: The Warehouse Supervisor must possess strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively manage warehouse operations and staff. The incumbent should have a solid understanding of the logistics and supply chain industry. This includes: Inventory Management: Knowledge of inventory control processes and systems. Safety Regulations: Familiarity with OSHA regulations and other safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Logistics Coordination: Understanding of the logistics involved in the movement of goods, including shipping and receiving procedures. Inventory Management Systems: Proficiency in using warehouse management software and inventory tracking systems. Leadership and Team Building: Ability to build a cohesive team and foster a positive work environment. Decision-Making: Strong decision-making skills to handle daily operational challenges. Customer Service: Skills to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through efficient warehouse operations. Education & Experience: The preferred education is a post-secondary degree. Minimum education is a General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). 2 years in a warehouse leadership role with direct reports. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Product including Dynamics365.
