Job Description
We're looking for an EDQ Business Development Manager to join a successful, driven and supportive team covering many different sectors, specifically supporting our Data Governance Proposition. Experian has recently formally partnered with Intozetta, now an Experian company, and we are looking for someone to help us accelerate the plan, discussions with clients and meet the revenue targets we have in place.
The Business Development Manager will focus on growing, cross selling and upselling opportunities in key sectors and bring insight to the business on what clients want, helping us evolve our proposition.
Reporting into the Head of Sales, this role will suit someone who works well in a target-driven environment and enjoys the challenges of the journey. Our product suite is broad, and you will enjoy learning and showcasing new products and services. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a similar sector, software, data, or technology.
* Hit daily and monthly indicators focused on call activity, pipeline built, and deals closed.
* Develop an understanding of Data Governance propositions.
* Work in collaboration with teams across the business including Customer Success, Pre Sales, and Marketing.
* Contribute to the EDQ Roadmap providing competitor insight.
* Maintain and share a comprehensive understanding of products, competitors, and use cases.
* Achieve targets and forecasts.
* Regular attendance at sales, pipeline, and opportunity reviews.
Qualifications
* Perform in a competitive environment.
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills.
* Curiosity to build considerable knowledge and be considered a data governance expert by clients, colleagues, and industry peers.
* Experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects.
