As a - Process & Pipeline Services, you will be involved with Nitrogen/Helium leak testing, nitrogen purging, process hydrotesting, pipefreezing and bolting scopes of work. You will be in charge of overseeing the daily operations of your team, located onsite throughout the assigned region. You will provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects in the UK. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.
As a Field Specialist - Process & Pipeline Services, you will be responsible for:
1. Ensure timely execution of orders, instructions and directions from the Department Manager.
2. Participate in pre-job briefing and ensure familiarisation with the workscope.
3. Supervise shifts and workscopes, ensuring that all operations are carried out as per procedure and as per the Company’s HSE and Operating Procedures.
4. Supervision and operation of nitrogen converters and haskell pumps.
5. Ensure that all subordinates are fully briefed on the workscope, their duties, the risks and HSE procedures and requirements.
6. Prepare all required Field Paperwork, including weekly reports and weekly timesheets.
7. Maintain effective communication with the client representative and the office.
8. Monitor instruments to assure proper flow, pressure and operational conditions.
9. Ensure that operation of equipment is carried out as per the Company’s HSE and Operating Procedures.
10. Ensure that the daily maintenance of equipment is carried out and ensure the equipment is ready for a job at all times.
11. Carry-out the operation of equipment as required as per the Company’s HSE and Operating Procedures.
12. Contribute to the process of continuous training and qualification improvement of employees within the Department.
13. Train subordinates on equipment, job procedures and safety regulations.
14. Perform other assigned duties as required.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you should:
15. Have advance mechanical aptitude
16. Have a Two year Technical Degree or equivalent
17. Have at least 5 years experience supervising process work scopes of varying sizes and complexity.
18. ECITB TMJI certification and bolting experience is required.
19. Be able to work well and communicate with others, including Clients.
20. Have knowledge of oil and gas industry
21. Have completed relevant technical and safety training courses
22. Understand Pipeline products, services, rig activities and processes.
23. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
