We are looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving business growth and creating new revenue opportunities. Responsibilities:
Reporting to our Chief Commercial Officer, responsibilities include:
* Develop and deliver sales strategy.
* Oversee and manage a developing sales team to meet revenue goals and close deals. Set sales targets and activity key performance indicators.
* Sales planning and reporting. Develop and manage sales forecasts, budgets, pricing models, and reports for the leadership team.
* Oversee telesales operations, leads management, and pipeline management.
* Coordinate with Dolphin’s marketing department to ensure sales and marketing efforts are effective.
* Manage own UK key accounts. Regular scheduled and planned activities to build and maintain strong relationships. Deliver sales against targets.
* Identify influential UK organisations and raise Dolphin’s profile with them.
* Maintain a good understanding of Dolphin software and services to ensure effectively communicating the value to our clients, both technical and non-technical.
* Deliver software demonstrations/sales webinars via video conferencing and in person. Attend networking opportunities and travel for business in line with requirements of customers.
* Develop a good understanding of client requirements. Share customer feedback to inform product enhancements and service improvements.
Skills and experience:
* Proven track record of setting and meeting sales targets.
* Experience of B2B sales.
* Experience of account management.
* Experience of managing salespeople and the ability to lead a developing team.
* Strong communication skills in written/spoken English.
* High level of presentation and negotiation skills.
* Willingness to travel and ability to organise trips effectively.
* Thorough understanding of Microsoft 365/Office suite.
* Proficiency with CRM software.
* A background in SaaS software sales and in particular assistive software.
* A background in education sales and knowledge of the AT sector.
* Experience of managing telesales team.
* Experience of pipeline management.
* Familiar with NetSuite ERP.
* Familiar with HubSpot CRM.
