Your Role and Responsibilities:
As a Specialist Paediatric OT, you will:
* Manage a caseload of children with complex and diverse presentations, utilizing your specialist knowledge in Sensory Integration Therapy and Sensory Attachment Therapy.
* Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalised therapy plans using advanced clinical reasoning.
* Collaborate with families, schools, and external agencies to provide holistic support, including assisting with EHCP applications and classroom interventions.
* Support service delivery, including leading on designated aspects of service evaluation and staff training, in collaboration with the Managing Director.
* Supervise and mentor less experienced OTs and students, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: BSc/Diploma in Occupational Therapy, with HCPC registration.
* Specialist Knowledge: Post-graduate training in Paediatrics, Sensory Integration Therapy, and ideally, Sensory Attachment Therapy.
* Experience: Extensive experience in paediatric settings, working with children with sensory processing difficulties and early life trauma.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to supervise, teach, and mentor colleagues and students.
* Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals.
