Job overview
We are looking for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our friendly team at LNW and Ealing CDC. The post is on a full-time permanent basis and will rotate across the 3 hospital sites (Northwick Park Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital and Ealing Hospital).
As a Cardiac Physiologist, you should be skilled in all non-invasive diagnostic tests with an emphasis on echocardiograms and on patient-centred care. You should be working towards your BSE accreditation and be proficient with BSE guidelines for acquisition and reporting.
The post holder should provide a safe and welcoming clinical environment for patients.
Main duties of the job
The main role is to perform and report adult trans-thoracic echocardiograms in line with BSE minimum data set and local reporting guidelines. Ensure quality assurance checks on equipment and action as appropriate.
Occasional ECG's, tape and BP fitting and analysis.
Submit reports and archive study images in accordance with contractual requirements and local SOPs.
Liaise with relevant hospital departments and GP practices for urgent clinical referrals. Support with patient bookings, ensuring patient information systems are maintained.
