Keltbray Infrastructure Services Limited's energy division is seeking multiple Site Engineers to join our Energy Transmission Teams based all over the UK, working from:
1. Carlisle
2. Southern England
3. Bathgate (Scotland)
Role & Responsibilities
To ensure that the OHL Transmission works on site are delivered on time, right first time, safely, and to budget. The Engineers will drive the delivery of essential subcontractor partners to facilitate the delivery of the OHL planned work.
The Engineers will be expected to work with the Site Manager / Project Engineers as required and directed to deliver and manage the OHL element of works, which can include steel work replacement, OHL fittings replacement, or full OHL refurbishment.
The Engineers will be expected to understand the delivery principles of OHL works and the basic design requirements to allow physical works to take place safely and efficiently.
The Engineers will support delivery on time to the highest standards of safety, sustainability, environmental, and quality.
To maintain a collaborative working environment which ensures client, internal, and other stakeholders' requirements are effectively managed, and employees feel motivated and engaged to deliver.
To support in the work winning as required.
Reporting to:
Head of Transmission; Head of Operations; Regional Managers; Project Managers; Site Managers; Project Team members; Design Team; Clients; Partners; Suppliers; Subcontractors; and local community.
Accountabilities
1. Understand delivery risks to achieve targets and deliver tasks.
2. Appreciation regarding relevant commercial terms for your work allocation.
3. Pro-actively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations.
4. Support Promote Health / Prevent Harm (PH2) and drive for continuous improvement across SHEQ.
5. Ensure compliance with statutory and company procedures, across all functions including H & S, Environmental, and Quality.
6. Participate in Safety Tours on allocated projects and drive safe working practices.
7. Undertake required site audits in line with tasks & Sensible Monitoring Schedule.
8. Support timely incident investigations.
9. Ensure documentation is in place to enable teams to commence works.
10. Collaborate relentlessly to ensure resources are utilized in the most efficient way on the project.
11. Visible management displaying the right behaviors.
12. Talk positively, listen actively, and encourage constantly.
Responsibilities

8. Ensure accurate record keeping is maintained and change is controlled and documented.
9. Day to day control regarding setting to work of subcontractors as the allocated Temporary Works Supervisor.
10. Day to day control regarding setting to work of direct labour.
Desired Personal Qualities and Experience
1. OHL subcontractor experience.
2. Experience in the delivery of Overhead Line industry on schemes up to 400kV preferable.
3. Visible on site and driven to deliver right first time safely.
4. Capable of documenting/managing change and accurate recording of information.
5. Strong relationship management.
6. Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions.
