Due to growth, Charters Estate Agents have a new opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our busy Letting Accounts Team on a part-time basis. This is a pivotal role providing administrative and credit control support to the Lettings operation. Your primary responsibility will be to monitor the monthly rentals and effectively manage the collection process to obtain payments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and manage the collection of rents
* Monitor and collect outstanding Landlord Payments
* Issue relevant notices and documents for collection of payments
* Communicate effectively with tenants and landlords to ensure payment terms are met
* Handle payments on our account software platform
* Report figures and generate statements
* Report collection progress to internal stakeholders
* Support the Lettings Accounts Team with answering incoming accounts calls and emails
Qualifications:
* Background in credit control or accounts is beneficial
* Ability to manage the debt collection of rents effectively
* Familiarity with the Lettings Process
* Demonstrated attention to detail and excellent organization skills
* Good problem-solving ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively
* Ability to work as part of a busy team environment
* Capacity to work in an extremely fast-paced, high growth company
* Strong MS Office skills, with intermediate or above knowledge of Excel
