About us
About UCL
We’re UCL, one of the world’s leading Universities and a member of the prestigious Russell Group. We have an enviable record for high quality teaching and research, a culture of promoting diversity and sustainability, and 30 Nobel laureates among our alumni and current and former staff. Founded in 1826 in the heart of London, we were the first university in England to welcome students of any religion and the first to welcome women on equal terms with men. Today UCL has over 50,000 students and 15,000 staff and is one of the world’s top 10 universities. At UCL we pride ourselves in the support we deliver to our students throughout their journey with us.
About the Student Enquiries and Support Transformation (SEST) Product Team
The Product Team sits within the Student Lifecycle Change Portfolio and is responsible for delivering the tactical replacement for SID (askUCL) and the strategic student enquiries and support transformation on the Dynamics365 platform.
About the role
This role is eligible for internal candidates only.
We are looking for two staff members for a 12-month secondment to play a pivotal part in the delivery of the CRM (Dynamics365) replacement for SID (askUCL). These fixed-term, full-time posts in the SEST Product Team have been created to support the implementation and roll-out of UCL’s CRM Programme of work. The post-holders will act as the subject matter experts, representing the voice of the business. They will capture requirements, provide feedback to support the product development through business testing, create user training materials and deliver staff user training sessions. Key to the success of these posts will be the ability to collaborate with a range of internal and external stakeholders, and to communicate clearly and effectively.
Secondments are welcome.
About you
The successful candidates will have substantial knowledge of the SITS student information system and SID student enquiry and case management system. They will be able to demonstrate good organisational skills, including time management with the ability to prioritise, work flexibly and to strict deadlines, manage own variable workload, and work on their own initiative. They must have excellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with colleagues and students at different levels of the institution.
Applications:
Please apply by attaching your CV and covering letter detailing how you meet each of the criteria in the Person Specification or how you could meet the criteria with reasonable training.
The closing date for applications is 10 January 2025. For an informal conversation about roles, please contact Kate Jones at k.s.jones@ucl.ac.uk. Interview dates are tbc but will fall between 3-15 February 2025.
