Job Description
We are seeking experienced Aircraft Mechanics with expertise in A320 base maintenance for a contract role operating outside IR35. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for performing scheduled base maintenance on A320 aircraft to ensure the highest safety standards and compliance with all relevant aviation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform scheduled base maintenance, inspections, modifications, and repairs on A320 aircraft in accordance with manufacturer and company specifications.
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues on A320 aircraft.
* Carry out routine inspections, replacements, and repairs of structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with EASA Part 145 regulations and company maintenance procedures.
* Complete work cards, maintenance documentation, and sign off tasks as per regulatory requirements.
* Assist in the removal and installation of aircraft engines, landing gears, and components.
* Perform testing of aircraft systems, operational checks, and functional tests as required.
Qualifications & Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience working on A320 aircraft in a base maintenance environment.
* Proven ability to work on A320 aircraft systems, including airframe, engine, and avionics.
Shift Pattern:
* 5-5-4 shift pattern: You will work 5 days on, followed by 5 days off, and then 4 days on. Each shift is 11.5 hours per day.
Contract Type:
* Outside IR35 contract, meaning you will be responsible for your tax and National Insurance contributions.
