The Science team are looking for an enthusiastic team-player to join their successful team.
We have an exciting opportunity within the department to work within our Science and Public Services department. We are looking for a Science Lab Assistant/ Technician to provide day to day practical support for teaching and learning within the science courses.
The role includes assisting the teaching team in the delivery of their programmes, supervising and maintaining practical work areas to ensure a high quality student learning experience, maintaining and sourcing equipment.
This role would be ideal for someone looking to use their excellent practical and theoretical knowledge in an educational environment.
It is desirable that the successful applicant has experience of supporting and/or delivering Biology, Chemistry and Physics to an A level or Level 3 standard and experience of working in a lab. In addition to up-to-date technical know-how and knowledge of Health and Safety at Work regulations.
The successful candidate will be working 37 hours per week and may be required to work across both our Watford and Hemel Hempstead campuses.
