Job Title : Veterinary Surgeon - Ophthalmology Bias Salary : Up to £65,000 per annum (FTE) depending on experience Location : Glenfield, Leicester Job Type : Permanent Hours : 38hours over 4-5days (part time applications considered) 1:3 weekends on call We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Vet with an interest in Ophthalmology, to join our certificate-led referral team at our Glenfield Hospital. Your role and responsibilities The role will involve working in our ophthalmology team based out of our 24/7 RCVS accredited Glenfield Hospital. The role requires a combination of consulting and surgery. The ophthalmology service is well-established with a large network of clients. We perform a wide-range of ophthalmology surgeries including cataract surgery. We are welcoming applications from confident GP Vets with an Ophthalmology interest that they wish to develop, ideally you will already be working towards a certificate. Experienced Ophthalmologists who already have a certificate are also welcome to apply. We could offer a 50/50 split between Ophthalmology and GP work, all within the Glenfield Hospital. You should work well in a team and be keen to support others in their development and learning in relation to ophthalmology.
