South Tyneside Community Treatment Team have opportunities for a band 6 clinicians. We are looking to recruit a caring and compassionate Community Practitioner with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our multi-disciplinary team offering assessment and treatment to clients experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assessment and treatment of clients experiencing complex and severe mental health difficulties, working closely with families and other professionals.
2. Providing MDT assessment of clients’ needs and identifying collaborative treatment plans.
3. Delivering various evidence-based psychological therapies both individually and in a group setting.
4. Supporting the wider team in ensuring the provision of excellent standards of care.
5. Having a good understanding of pharmacological approaches to treatment.
6. Maintaining effective working relationships with other teams in CNTW and external agencies.
7. Supporting the implementation of Community Transformation agenda.
