Job Type: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: £29,917.68 per year (required shifts). Overtime available
Purpose of role
To provide leadership and support to staff teams to ensure high quality therapeutic care is delivered to young people as part of Choices Homes For Children’s integrated service. Acting as leader, role model and co-ordinator of shifts and fully deputising for the Registered Home Manager in their absence. This role requires a minimum of Level 4 Young People and Family Practitioner qualification (or equivalent) and to have supervisory experience in a residential children’s home.
Minimum Requirements
* Level 3/4 NVQ in Children, Young People and Families Practitioner or equivalent.
* Children’s residential care work: 2 years (required).
* Full UK Driving Licence (required).
* Ability to Commute: Hazel Grove (required).
Schedule
* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Overtime
Key Responsibilities
* Commitment to working with children and young people with complex and challenging high-end behavioural needs.
* Leading and inspiring a staff team and taking responsibility for their training, development, supervisions, and rotas.
* Being a positive role model to the children and young people.
* Delivering the Children’s Standards in the home.
* Previous supervisory experience in a children’s residential home setting is essential, with the drive and motivation to always provide a safe environment for the young people.
* Demonstrating the skills and knowledge required for the role.
