The University of South Wales, Faculty of Life Sciences and Education, is seeking to appoint a lecturer in Midwifery to join an existing team of academic staff and to contribute to a range of modules and courses across the pre-registration midwifery programme. The post holder will support the Course Leader and Lead Midwife for Education (LME) in the delivery of the midwifery programme and assume the role of practice placement link lecturer for a number of clinical areas. We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and innovative individual with a strong background in current midwifery practice.
The post holder must have a minimum of three years post-registration professional experience, have experience of facilitating the learning and assessment of students, an understanding of contemporary healthcare higher education, and have active registration with the NMC. The post holder must also have current experience of facilitating the learning of students across a range of practice settings.
This position is based at our Pontypridd (Lower Glyntaff) Campus at the University of South Wales.
This is a full time, permanent post.
