About the Role:
You will be teaching Business and Economics to KS4 and KS5 students, helping them achieve academic excellence and preparing them for future studies and careers. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners, and will support students in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics for GCSE and A-Level students
* Foster a positive learning environment that inspires and motivates students
* Track and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help students achieve their academic goals
* Contribute to the wider school community, including involvement in extra-curricular activities and department planning
* Maintain strong relationships with students, staff, and parents
About You:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
* Proven experience teaching Business and Economics at KS4 and KS5 level
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Business and Economics
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to engage and inspire students with a variety of teaching strategies
* A commitment to student achievement and development
* Enhanced DBS certificate and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one through Teaching Personnel)
