Role Purpose
We are looking to recruit a highly motivated, qualified Social Worker to support the provision of good outcomes for children and young people. The post holder will mainly work with Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, and as a member of the wider Transition Service, there will also be opportunities to develop skills in relation to Throughcare, Aftercare, and Youth Justice practice.

Essential
Appropriate social work qualification at degree or diploma level (DipSW).
Registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Current driving licence and use of a vehicle.
A current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post. If you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence, Scottish Borders Council will consider reasonable adjustments to allow you to undertake the travel responsibilities of the post.
