To support our extremely rapid growth, we are seeking an Investment Management Administrator to support our trading, portfolio administration, and operational processes. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with portfolio managers, investment platforms, and third-party service providers while maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our investment operations.

As technology is embedded in everything we do, the candidate should be proficient in using UK retail investment platforms, Microsoft productivity suite apps, in particular MS SharePoint and Task manager.
This role would suit an experienced and ambitious administrator within the IFA, Wealth management or financial services industry looking to take the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities:
Trading & Portfolio Management Support:
1. Execute trades on bespoke client accounts.
2. Assist in bulk rebalances of our Model Portfolio Service (MPS) ranges.
3. Reconcile transactions and investigate discrepancies.
Operational & Client Support:
1. Act as a point of contact for client inquiries regarding investment operations.
2. Prepare client reports and investment statements.
3. Maintain accurate records of client accounts and portfolios.
4. Liaise with investment platforms and third-party service providers.
5. Support portfolio managers with operational and administrative needs.
6. Take minutes of investment meetings.
Data, Compliance & Process Management:
1. Ensure data integrity in investment systems.
2. Support compliance monitoring and regulatory reporting.
3. Administer and reconcile investment portfolios.
4. Coordinate with fund managers and operations teams.
5. Monitor and improve investment operations processes.
6. Assist with technology implementation and system updates to enhance operational efficiency.
General Administration & Office Management:
1. Perform basic administrative tasks, such as ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment.
2. Oversee office management tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Skills & Experience:
1. Experience in investment operations, trading support, or fund administration.
2. Knowledge of trade processing, portfolio rebalancing, and reconciliations.
3. Familiarity with investment platforms and discretionary fund management.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
5. Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and service providers.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in investment management.
8. Proficiency in Excel and investment reporting tools is an advantage.
9. Background in wealth management, discretionary fund management (DFM), or independent financial advisory (IFA) firms is highly desirable.
