Responsibilities for Caregivers or Companions at Providence Companion Care
1. Must have a heart for the elderly.
2. Provide a variety of caregiving services to maintain and support activities of daily living for our clients in the comfort of their home or facility.
3. Assist with daily living activities for clients, including social interaction and community connection.
4. Administer constant, quality customer service to help our clients thrive.
5. Must have a positive attitude.
Requirements for Caregiver or Companion
1. Have 1 year or more experience with caregiving, in-home care, facilities, companionship, or CNA (Preferred but we are willing to train the right candidate).
2. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required).
3. 8 hours per year in-service training (required).
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Compassion for and commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care.
6. Ability to be a responsible and dependable team member, remaining calm, kind, and patient during difficult circumstances and emergencies.
