We’ll inspire and empower you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow and succeed – today and into tomorrow. We offer an exciting range of opportunities to develop your career within a supportive and diverse team who always strive to do the right thing for our people, clients and communities.
About the opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Project Manager to join our client-facing team within our Non-Nuclear Engineering Partner Framework (NNEP).
The project involves delivering the design phase of a large-scale, multiphase explosives facility.
The successful candidate must be a confident, self-motivating individual, with a willingness to develop further within the role, enabling them to take on increasing levels of responsibility. The project environment is highly dynamic, and the candidate must be adaptable, resilient, and capable of prioritising competing tasks to ensure overarching project needs are met. They will be methodical and well-organised, with the ability to capture actions, document decisions, and monitor outcomes.
Given the diverse range of stakeholders involved, the successful candidate must also have the ability to network autonomously. Working closely with technical discipline leads, they will ensure overarching adherence to schedule by driving project cadence and coordinating the generation, review and submission of project deliverables.
As this is a client-facing position, with some cross-business coordination of activities, professional integrity and strong interpersonal skills are vital.
* Ability to be proactive and to act with autonomy.
* Ability to prioritise personal workloads and maintain perspective in a dynamic environment, ensuring due diligence is observed.
* Ability to parse technical data into project information.
* Ability to maintain professional integrity, build relationships, and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, while coordinating a diverse range of technical stakeholders.
* Awareness of standard project management methodologies (waterfall, agile, lean, etc.).
* A Bachelor’s Degree in either an appropriate science, engineering or management subject (or equivalent experience).
* Experience working within a project support role (preferable).
* Experience acting in a client- or customer-facing role (preferable).
Any offer of employment will be strictly subject to the relevant security requirements for the role being met. This means that you will need to have, or be able to obtain, Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and either Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
