This includes critical projects such as Real-Time Information, Radio Systems, and Audio-Visual tracking solutions. Role Overview As Programme Manager, you will oversee all elements of the Systems Programme, ensuring efficient delivery aligned with governance policies, schedules, and budgets. You will lead a team of project professionals to deliver complex, safety-critical, and business-critical systems, ensuring seamless integration and performance while managing stakeholder expectations and safeguarding organisational reputation. Key Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end Systems Programme delivery, including Real-Time Information and communications systems. Act as Project Manager for complex, high-value projects as directed. Monitor programme performance in terms of time, cost, and quality, and report progress to senior leadership. Lead and develop the Project Team, fostering competence and succession planning. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes. Ensure compliance with governance policies, audits, and performance criteria. Essential Criteria A minimum of 3 years ’ experience in project management within a systems environment or a strong understanding of bus operations and systems. Proven experience managing large budgets and delivering complex projects across multiple sites. Degree in a relevant technical or business discipline and a recognised Project Management Qualification. Strong leadership and people management experience, with a track record of driving performance in operational environments. Desirable Criteria Experience in a unionised workplace or bus operations. Key Skills Decision-making under pressure, problem-solving, and delivering innovative solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
