Job summary The Childrens Hospital at The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to the post of clerical officer. This role will play an integral part in supporting the CSU to ensure all waiting list data is accurate and validated regularly. The successful candidate would be required to work with spread sheets and waiting list reports and have the ability to cross-check information across a range of systems. This role will also involve communicating with patients over the phone. Main duties of the job This role provides a high standard of clerical service and, where necessary, reception duties to the department, adhering to departmental guidelines and policies. The successful candidate will undertake a range of clerical and administrative duties which will include receiving and checking documentation, reports and patient information, processing appropriately within departmental guidelines, entering information onto the appropriate IT system and retrieving information as and when required.
