Salary: £27.5k – £35k (DOE) plus eligibility for bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package The Role A growing consultancy is seeking an Civil Infrastructure Engineer to support the senior team in delivering technical design reports and drainage strategies for planning applications. The role involves contributing to detailed drainage and highways design from initial concept through to technical approval and construction. Key Responsibilities Prepare technical highways drawings (e.g., preliminary general arrangements, S278 and S38 designs) following national standards. Develop and detail drainage strategies incorporating SuDS principles for planning applications. Produce CAD designs and maintain company CAD standards. Collaborate with stakeholders, project team members, and clients. Support senior engineers with site visits and related technical tasks. Contribute to a positive and ambitious team environment. Requirements A relevant Engineering degree (BEng/MEng) or equivalent qualification. At least 1 year of post-graduate experience in Infrastructure/Civil Engineering. Confident in working independently and managing multiple projects to deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with QGIS, PDS, and Causeway Flow (MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage also suitable.) A desire to grow within an exciting and expanding team.
