We have an exciting opportunity at Creams Cafe in Walsall!
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual with a vibrant and friendly personality to join our management team!
The ideal candidate MUST have at least 1 year's working experience leading a team and must also have knowledge and experience working in a hospitality customer service role, with contactable references.
We are looking for people with outgoing personalities, who will work together with our management team to provide outstanding service to all of our customers and drive the business forward.
You need to be flexible and available to work a variety of shifts, including some late evening shifts.
The role:
As a Team Leader, you'll be responsible for a variety of exciting tasks to support our management team in the day-to-day running of the business, whilst ensuring that you provide excellent service to all of our guests.
Team Leader responsibilities:
* To welcome, serve and guide all of our guests with great friendly service
* To lead and inspire our team members on every shift
* To work with your colleagues as a team, communicating in a positive, caring and respectful manner at all times
* To support our management team in training new starters
* To prepare the shift plan and organise the team on shift to ensure that all scheduled tasks are completed and guest satisfaction is maximised
* To perform all opening and closing procedures, including cashing up at the end of each day
* To handle all types of guest feedback in a positive manner, taking appropriate follow-up action and reporting these to management
* To ensure that all menu items are displayed, prepared and served to brand standards
* To ensure that all menu items are made to our builder sheet specifications
* To perform daily fridge, freezer and food temperature checks
* To monitor and control wastage
* To place orders and carry out stock checks
* To implement all product promotions and new menu launches to time and quality standards
* To comply with all food safety standards, company policies and procedures
