Trinity College, the largest of the Colleges at Cambridge University, is home to approximately 700 undergraduates, 350 postgraduates, and 180 Fellows. Following the progression of the current post holder to a new role, the College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Services Manager to join its Catering Department.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service and a desire to consistently exceed expectations. You will take full ownership of all front-of-house activities, ensuring smooth and professional operations across all services. Working closely with the senior management team and front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the Colleges reputation for excellence.
This is a varied and demanding role, offering a diverse range of services, from intimate fine dining and canapé receptions to large events, parties, buffets, and the daily student cafeteria. You will oversee the management and development of front-of-house staff, ensuring they receive the necessary training to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and lead all front-of-house services, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
* Oversee staff training and development to maintain high standards.
* Management and delivery of HACCP, Food Safety, Allergen Control and Health & Safety in the front of house department.
* Collaborate with the senior management team to enhance services and processes.

This is a permanent full-time role (typically 37.5 hours per week on a shift rota) with a salary of £55,000 to £59,000 per annum, (dependant upon experience) plus a generous benefits package which includes:
