The opportunity is fixed term to cover maternity leave until 14 November 2025. The Catering, Contracts and Performance Team is responsible for the Trusts Catering Services and also manages the contracts within Hotel Services as well as providing performance data reports for the department as a whole. Main duties of the job The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide support to the Head of Catering, Contracts & Performance and the team and the duties will include: support for the planning and production of trust wide menus; assist in the writing of contract tenders; management of calendars and emails; the organisation and minuting of a variety of meetings including the production and distribution of KPI reports; maintaining action logs and in house financial records; dealing with incoming phone calls and providing general administrative support. Excellent communication and customer care skills are essential as well as the necessity to maintain confidentiality at all times. Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration. Sound IT knowledge and experience, with competency in Microsoft Office packages, the ability to communicate effectively and good organisational skills and attention to details are requirements of the role. This is a demanding role and as such applicants should be able to work under pressure when required. The post holder will be based at Acklam Road Hospital in Middlesbrough and this is a full time position working Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
