Your Role
Capgemini Engineering has multiple roles for Systems Engineering Consultants to join our rapidly growing team to support one of the UK’s leading Defence companies.
As a Systems Engineering consultant within Capgemini, you will be working alongside some of the top experts in the country, on some of the largest and most complex client engagements across the Defence sector. Our portfolio of projects includes work at all stages of the system lifecycle, from concept definition to in-service support. As well as directly supporting Systems Engineering tasks for our clients, we also offer consultancy services to improve organisation’s Systems Engineering & Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) capabilities and enable digital transformation.

Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time. Job Responsibilities
*
Development and management of Systems Engineering artefacts dependent on project need, e.g. Systems Architecture, Requirements Management, Interface Control Documents, Verification & Validation Planning etc.

MBSE Model development, utilising SysML, across various levels of the system design.
*
Facilitating cross-functional team collaboration and liaising with specialists and discipline leads.
*
Conducting design reviews and closing out actions.
*
Technical documentation, data packs, and peer reviews.
*
Consulting with stakeholders to elicit and manage their capability needs and define requirements.
*
Proposing solutions to address client needs.
*
Supporting bid work, including costing and technical proposal generation for future system studies.
*
Technical coordination and reporting.
*
Presenting at meetings and workshops.

Qualifications
*
Systems engineering lifecycle experience, including requirements management and system design process (including system and sub-system specification) and product verification and validation.
*
Experience in developing, maintaining and using an MBSE model.
*
Experience in the adoption of SysML modelling language, industry standard MBSE frameworks and tools in an engineering project
*
Experience in using Sparx Enterprise Architect or Cameo Systems Modeller.
*
Experience with MBSE frameworks like Magic Grid, Harmony, Arcadia, CESAM, OOSEM, SYSMOD, CORE etc.
*
Experience of working in an engineering context (mechanical, electrical, software, systems).
*
Experience of working in a manufacturing engineering environment.
*
Experience of working in the defence industry is preferred
