About the Role:
I’m excited to share an opportunity for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to join my client’s rapidly expanding infrastructure team. They are working on high-value projects in the Rail and Aviation sector.
If you have experience in project controls within the rail or transport industry and a proven track record of successful project delivery, this could be the perfect next step for you.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
* Collaborating with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and establish performance baselines
* Monitoring progress and costs, and producing detailed project control reports
* Providing performance analysis and recommendations to clients
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring trust and delivering exceptional results
What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this position, you’ll need:
* Experience working in project controls on major infrastructure projects, ideally in the rail sector
* Strong knowledge of earned value management, cost control, baseline management, and project reporting
* Experience with P6
* NEC contract experience
* Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a proactive, self-starter approach
Qualifications:
* A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in project controls
* High proficiency in Excel, Primavera (P6), and financial systems like Oracle or SAP
* Familiarity with web-based project control tools
