We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a key member of our Safety & Assurance team. As the Environment & Assurance Manager, you will play a significant and pivotal role in driving our sustainability work, within the Group strategy. The Role: Working within our Forestry Division Safety & Assurance Team, you will be responsible for the environment and quality management system elements of our integrated management system. Representing the Forestry Division you will feed into the Group ESG Strategy. In the role you will travel to sites across Great Britain to support business delivery. With two direct reports to support you, you will be responsible for the internal and external audit programmes. About You: As an experienced Environment and Quality Manager, you will have a proven track record of managing integrated management systems, with a strong understanding of the relationship between the management system and business performance. Supporting all areas of the business you’ll have the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. In addition, you’ll have: Experience in forestry, land based sector or other multisite service provision The ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams across a company. Strong commercial and client relationship skills. Good knowledge of the UK Forestry Standard and UKWAS is desirable. Professional membership of the IEMA or another relevant professional body.
