We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Administration Manager to join our Medical and Surgical Operations team at The London Clinic, based at our main site in London (W1G 6BW). We are offering a competitive inclusive salary of £75,000 per annum.

Job Profile:
As the Consultant Administration Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the management, development, and oversight of the medical secretarial function across The London Clinic. The post holder will be responsible for overseeing all medical secretarial services, ensuring that the required service levels are consistently achieved. The manager will also work to standardise administrative processes across The Clinic including bookings processes. Proactive development and management of the service will also be within the postholder’s remit in order to continue to grow the service. The Consultant Administration Manager will have innovative ideas to drive growth, and will take these through to implementation and measurement of success.
* Job Type: Permanent, Full Time.
* Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
* Job Location: The London Clinic, 20 Devonshire Place, W1G 6BW.
* Salary: £75,000 per annum.

Key Duties:
* Manage the service’s budget effectively while developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue in line with agreed objectives.
* Develop, maintain, and grow a high-performance team of Medical Secretaries, including their direct line management, ensuring that all team members are fully trained in their areas of expertise and that a continual induction and development program is employed.
* Develop and implement performance targets for the service, ensuring that fit for purpose measures are in place to report at daily, weekly, and monthly intervals, as required.
* Act as a lead on ad-hoc project work as required, and any other duties commensurate with the grade of the post or at the request of the line manager or Director.
* Continuously review and develop effective processes by proactively seeking and acting upon feedback about these from internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead on review of our patient management systems, policies, and procedures and departmental changes.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven management experience in an administration team.
* Previous experience in a healthcare setting and medical environment, with experience within the private healthcare sector highly desirable.
* Experience of change management and track record of growing services.
* Ability to motivate and lead a team to deliver objectives and achieve targets.
* Ability to build strong working relationships with consultant teams.
* Expertise in developing, implementing, and continually monitoring fit for purpose operational processes.
