Position Overview
In order to further strengthen our team in Bicknor, we are currently looking for a:
Quality Compliance Supervisor
(Bicknor, Kent, UK)
Your Mission
The Quality & Compliance Controller will conduct and manage fruit testing, finished product testing, issuing COA’s upon positive release of finished products, and keeping records. Assist the Technical Department in continuous improvement programmes and maintaining the Quality Management System.
Key Accountabilities
With the support of a small and friendly team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. BRC base-level audits
2. Quality Assurance, Glass, Plastic Audits, GMP Tours
3. CCP checks and validation
4. COVID Secure Audit Compliance
5. H & S compliance, Factory Master entries, tours, scheduling
6. Maintain the QC database and filing system
7. Monitoring and evaluating the product testing database and filling
8. Assist and support the technical department in internal audits: GMP, traceability, HACCP, paperwork, allergens, and processes
9. Audit and file away daily production records
10. Logs: product on hold, metal rejects, serious incident
11. To conduct incoming fruit testing, maintain a fruit stock database both on the system and in software
12. Issue fruit to production based on test results and assist the stockkeeper in fruit selection
13. Conduct and monitor daily cleaning verification by swabbing and maintaining the software database
14. Conduct and maintain daily internal and external equipment calibration in order to support production
15. Test and positive release products
16. Filing and maintaining COA’s records
17. Effectively communicate with customers by providing timely COA’s
18. Help and assist the technical team in maintaining an up-to-date internal and external equipment calibration folder
19. To help prepare the technical team for external audits
20. To assist the technical team in carrying out microbiological sampling, control, and reporting
21. To assist in the review of products involved in complaints if necessary
22. Provide support during runs or rework of sensitive products
23. Trial testing: to take part in the technical reviews of new product development
24. To conduct and monitor shelf life testing
25. Provide updates on any food safety or GMP-related issues for the TM to report
26. To provide cover for technical assistant, i.e., print labels and arrange micro samples
27. Help and assist the technical team in day-to-day tasks
28. Fill in the appropriate documentation as deemed necessary by the Technical Manager or Deputy
29. Food Safety Hygiene Level 2, status training, and schedule development
