Job description
Working as a Speech and Language Therapist, you will be providing support to children and their families/carers to maximise their communication potential.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining accurate records and generating written reports.
* Conducting speech, language and communication assessments.
* Establishing therapy goals and tracking progress.
* Taking part in regular meetings, supervisions and appraisals.
* Creating a showcase speech and language therapy programme.
* Taking responsibility for a specific service area, working independently without direct supervision.
* Taking responsibility for own professional development.
Requirements:
* Speech and Language Therapy qualification.
* Experience working with children who have complex needs.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A commitment to providing effective services and a commitment to continued improvement.
* Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
