Various shift patterns available, mostly evening shifts during the week & at weekends.
Main duties of the job
* In line with National Standards of Cleanliness provide a safe, hygienic environment for patients and staff.
* To communicate effectively with patients, work colleagues and visitors throughout the process of delivery of the service and at all times respecting dignity and confidentiality.
* To carry out all designated cleaning duties in a safe manner using only equipment and materials provided by the department. Compliance with policies and procedures.
* Completion of mandatory training and relevant departmental training.
* Uses own initiative when carrying out duties on wards and departments to ensure service is provided and standards are met.

We provide a wide range of services, from traditional facilities management and estate maintenance, to sterile services, wheelchair engineering and procurement.
Job responsibilities
* Completion of work records.
* Work completed in line with schedules and timescales.
* Target % as per NHS Framework for audit achieved.
* Reports any adverse event to line manager and completes online form.
* Patient satisfaction surveys show no incidents or concerns regarding service.
* No issues raised via PALS.

Qualifications
Experience
* Previous experience working with the public/customers.
* Experience of working in the cleaning industry (commercial/healthcare, etc.).
* Previous experience of working in a hospital/healthcare/care home environment.
